Throughout its history, Clube Uni\u00e3o Micaelense has been about more than just football. Roller hockey had a notable competitive presence at the club, which also ran a basketball section and was associated with the S\u00e3o Miguel Athletics Association, fielding its own team in the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, alongside football, Clube Uni\u00e3o Micaelense remains competitively active in two other sports: handball, with a team affiliated to the Portuguese Handball Federation, and beach tennis \u2014 reflecting the club’s eclectic character and its ongoing commitment to regional sports development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s also worth mentioning the recently formed Walking Football group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
