Throughout its history, Clube União Micaelense has been about more than just football. Roller hockey had a notable competitive presence at the club, which also ran a basketball section and was associated with the São Miguel Athletics Association, fielding its own team in the sport.
Today, alongside football, Clube União Micaelense remains competitively active in two other sports: handball, with a team affiliated to the Portuguese Handball Federation, and beach tennis — reflecting the club’s eclectic character and its ongoing commitment to regional sports development.
It’s also worth mentioning the recently formed Walking Football group.
