The senior team of Clube União Micaelense currently competes in the Azores Football Championship, under the leadership of Hugo Carreiro “Sagão”, a club legend who also represented União Micaelense as a player.
Qualification for the regional competition was secured in the 2024/2025 season, when the team won the São Miguel Championship for the 11th time in its history. In the 2025/2026 season, União Micaelense finished the Azores Football Championship in a well-earned 6th place.
